The name “Shisanhang” (“十三行” in Chinese) can date back to Qing dynasty. Today it refers to the business circle at Shisanhang Road.
It is said that 80 percent of China’s clothes are produced in Guangdong, 80 percent of Guangdong’s clothes are produced in Guangzhou, and 80 percent of Guangzhou’s clothes come from Shisanhang.
