On August 31, European participants of the 2026 China-Europe Youth Workshop visited Guangzhou University's gymnasium for a lively session of pickleball and dragon-lion dance. 
Students from Spain's Polytechnic University of Valencia, Italy's University of Padua, Ca' Foscari University of Venice, and the University of Verona joined their peers from Guangzhou University, experiencing the energy of people-to-people exchange through a vibrant mix of tradition and modern sport.
Sergio Chumillas Garcia from Spain said: "We are really impressed and amazed by the difference in culture and I find this country a dream to work as someone that studies a technological degree."
